Essence of the project

Internships Project aims at helping the organizations in making use of the qualities of the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration -Sofia University (FEBA), as well as assisting students in realizing their first steps in the professional sphere.

Through the internships, organizations have the opportunity to work with extremely ambitious young people, who are at the beginning of their career. That gives the employers the advantage of getting acquainted more easily with their own potential future personnel and train it. A distinguishing feature of FEBA students is the extremely high level of qualification.

Advantages of the FEBA students

The initiative has the purpose of assisting the firms in the period of summer holidays, when the problem of the temporarily absent personnel is most urgent. Nevertheless, there is no restriction of the period, in which the internships will be carried out.

Of importance to the success of the initiative is the circumstance that at FEBA there are taught young people from all regions of the country, which makes the internships in every large and small town wanted and demanded by our students.

Realization of the project
In the process of organizing the internships Business Club is responsible for the following activities:

• Announcing and popularizing the offers of the various firms to take part in the program with the requirements for the candidates.
• Collecting CVs of the candidates and taking the responsibility for submitting them to the employers.
• Providing additional information for the academic preparation of the students at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
• Realizing the contact between the firms and the administration of FEBA when any of the two sides desires it.

Comments:
Internships Project undergoes constant development with the purpose of achieving more satisfactory for all sides results. Among the organizations which have co-operated with Business Club for the realization of the internships are UBB, Bulgarian Post Bank, PAC Doverie, Small and Middle Enterprises Agency , TB Biohim, Petrol JSC. The organizations are very pleased with FEBA students and most of the organizations considered our student the best in their field.
