About us

The Business Club is a registered non-for-profit, independent, student-run organization - a unique group of students who share common career goals and look at the world with a global perspective.

Mission

• Help students in their studies and career
• Form a community of those who associate with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University
• Shape and sustain the reputation of the faculty institution and the students. Promote them to the business community
• Involve students in its activities, thus providing them with opportunities to improve qualities necessary for their future career success

History
Business Club was established in 1997 inspired by Kenet Kofford and Bernard Morin – guest-lecturers at FEBA. The German professors and entrepreneurs Berndt Artin Wessels and Michael Klett also supported the new initiative. Business Club won an Open Society grant for its first project – CV Book 1998. During the years the organization succeeded in finding financial support from Deichmann, ConsulTeam, Umicore, Sofia Med, Mtel, and Bulgarian Post Bank.

From the beginning of 2002, the organization is an official partner of the BG Dream Program, implemented by the Bulgarian government.
Business Club became also a member of the Bulgarian International Business Association (BIBA).
